Harpur Trust Mill Meadows and Everard Meadow

Mill Meadows is a hub of activity during the River Festival, with trade stalls galore and the ever-popular Community Stages showcasing fantastic performances from the community of Bedfordshire. The Community Stage is kindly sponsored by the Harpur Trust.

New for 2022, Mill Meadows will feature ‘Inclusion Island’. This part of the River Festival site is designed to showcase the support and services available to people with disabilities and mental health conditions and their carers and families. There will be a sensory tent to act as a dedicated zone to support Festival-goers who may be feeling overstimulated, as well as a workshop to allow people to get involved and find out more about the support that is on offer. Inclusion Island will also offer family activities for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Lastly, there is plenty of fun to be had at the Giant Funfair on Everard Meadow and the Children’s Funfair on Mill Meadows – perfect for thrill-seekers both big and small!
