Let the battle begin! Take to the water along a 200-metre River Ouse racecourse, with thousands of spectators roaring your team to the finish line. This year, The Bedford River Festival Dragonboat races will be managed by Sue Ryder. Race for Sue Ryder and help them to be there when it matters.
Over 20 crews are expected to battle it out on an exciting and picturesque course on the River Great Ouse, flanked on the south side by St Mary’s Gardens and the Riverside Square on the north side. Get those drums beating!

The 2024 River Festival will include countless river activities, eight live music and performance areas, the Sports Island, Family Island, Green Earth Village, the wonderful offerings of the Festival Market, Bedford Festival of Motoring, plus so much more!
